Responsibilities
The role is responsible for delivering a mix of foundational technologies and innovative solutions for customers, suppliers, and partners of our ecosystem. A strong focus will be on value generation and return-on-investment over number of digital initiatives launched. The successful candidate will in some cases have to deeply support the up-skilling of teams that are nascent in their digital maturity.
-Hold full accountability for the region’s digital strategy and initiatives
-Provide strategic input to business units within the region, with a focus on return-on-investment from digital initiatives
-Develop a short-term plan and long-term roadmap to deliver business success through digital for the market
-Manage the portfolio of all digital initiatives across the region
-Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of regional and country digital strategy and initiatives
-Ensure the business take a long-term approach to digital initiatives
-Enable a greater visibility within the business on digital analytics and value generated
-Take the lead in upskilling the business on digital concepts, technologies and best practices


Knowledge, Skills, Experiences, and Competencies
-BS/MS degree in IT or related field
-Demonstrable experience in the development and launch of digital (marketing) initiatives
-Demonstrable experience of understanding (external) customer journeys and designing new customer experiences
-Strong track record of delivering digital solutions with clear outcome metrics
-Experience of developing partnerships with digital and startup ecosystems
-Ability to develop and create compelling business cases to promote new digital initiatives to the business
-Ability to identify and deliver POCs of innovative digital solutions
-Up-to-date with the latest trends in digital
-Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with excellent business awareness and understanding
-Excellent team-working skills (especially in a culturally diverse, demanding environment) and a willingness to get alongside issues, provide clear direction and drive results
-Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
-Experience with offshore and multi-location coordination
-Strong communication and influencing skills
